Headline: Business Development Specialist – SAP & BC Bid Experience (Surrey)
Compensation: $45,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus
Location: Surrey, BC (Near Hwy 10 / Hwy 15)

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a high-energy business development specialist to manage sales for two established sister companies specializing in transportation/logistics and soil remediation/environmental services. This is a “dual-threat” role: you will be selling high-volume freight services while simultaneously bidding on large-scale environmental projects.
The Mandatory Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
• SAP Proficiency: Hands-on experience using SAP for sales orders, customer tracking, and reporting.
• BC Bid Knowledge: Proven experience navigating the BC Bid system, tracking tenders, and submitting compliant government RFPs.
• Local Sales Experience: Familiarity with the construction, excavation, or industrial sectors in the Lower Mainland.
What You Will Do:
• Hunt for new accounts in the transportation and soil sectors.
• Monitor BC Bid daily and lead the proposal process for municipal/provincial contracts.
• Manage the full sales cycle within SAP to ensure accuracy and professional client management.
• Build relationships with site supervisors, developers, and project managers across BC.
Who You Are:
You are a “Hunter” who prefers a high-upside commission structure over a high base salary. You are detail-oriented enough to handle complex government paperwork but aggressive enough to cold-call a construction site.
The Compensation (Read Carefully):
We provide a stable base salary of $45,000. However, our commission and bonus structure is among the most aggressive in the industry. For a specialist who can successfully bridge the gap between transportation and soil remediation:
• First-year potential is $100,000+
• Top performers with an established book of business can exceed $200,000+ per year.
