One of Canada’s original Internet Service Providers is searching for outgoing, enthusiastic members to join our technical support team.
JOB DUTIES
Answer inbound support and customer inquiries at our Burnaby head office.
Provide suggestions and configure Internet settings for customer computers, tablets, and routers to recognize and resolve issues from a provider perspective for LAN/WAN/WIFI issues
Create, resolve, and update trouble tickets between customers, telco, and cable carriers
Configure ADSL, Cable, Fibre modems
Configure VOIP adapters
Provision ADSL and Cable and Fibre Internet Service
Answer customer inquiries.
Reply to inbound emails, trouble tickets, and support and communicate with Carriers
REQUIRED SKILLS
Positive, professional, and enthusiastic communication skills
A commitment to providing friendly and quality customer service
Excellent English, verbal, and written skills
Knowledge of Windows
Network Essentials
Mac, TCP/IP knowledge an asset
Router, VoIP setup configurations
Provide details for various e-mail programs
Previous help desk and call center experience is an asset
Knowledge of ADSL and cable internet
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.45/hr-$23.45 per hour
