Brief Overview:
We are looking to hire part-time (8+ hrs/week) marketers from now until the end of July. The marketing will be door to door and will take place in the neighborhoods of Dunbar and Kerrisdale. Previous experience in marketing/sales is an asset. This position requires you to be a self-starter and an excellent communicator. Pay is hourly plus commission, meaning your earnings are dependent on how much time you put in and the enthusiasm you bring to the door.
Position:
– Go to an assigned area and conduct door knocking.
– Offer free painting estimates to homeowners.
– Collect homeowner information and book estimates using scheduling software.
– Attend a paid training shift to learn effective marketing strategies.
– After training, work independently in a designated area.
– Hours are flexible but always fall between 11:00–20:30, weekdays and weekends.
– Scheduling is provided roughly 2 weeks in advance.
– Additional job details will be provided during initial contact and the interviews
Compensation:
– $18.00 per hour as a base rate plus;
– $10.00 commission per lead generated
– $5.00 commission per estimate booked
– $100.00 incentive for every 10 estimates booked
– Average hourly income last year was $26/hr
– Getting 1 estimate booked in an hour means you will earn $33.00/hr. Good marketers average 2+ bookings per hour.
